Interested in renting?
We're happy to say that the rental market in Rutland has greatly improved in the past several years, with the renovation of many of the downtown buildings into residential apartments. Venture a flew blocks out of the downtown and you'll find historic Rutland homes offering unique living opportunities.
Moving from the city, and scared you’ll be without a coffee shop in walking distance? Not to worry! Looking for a cabin retreat? We’ve got that too!
When searching for apartments, Craigslist will be your best bet. Because the Rutland region is made up of a number of closely connected towns and villages, you may want to review a local map and search by town name.
It's worth noting that Vermont currently has just one Craigslist page. Also worth noting is that we have Rutland City, Rutland Town, West Rutland, and Center Rutland. These are all different, though all within close proximity of each other. Downtown Rutland is located within Rutland City.
On Craigslist, try searching:
North: Proctor, Pittsford, Brandon
West: Mendon, Chittenden Killington, Pittsfield
East: West Rutland, Castleton, Fair Haven
South: Clarendon, Wallingford, Shrewsbury
