Join us in Proctor for a leisurely paddle from the Proctor Falls down the meandering Otter Creek to Gorham Bridge. Paddle past tranquil farm country and maybe even see a titular otter. The downstream trip will take about half an hour at a leisurely pace while the upstream trip will take about 45 minutes and will be a little more of a workout. Afterwards, we can all meet up at Franklin's for a beverage and appetizers.
This event will be dependent upon the weather, the river level, the current, and whether or not there have been any recent combined sewer overflows. Participants must bring their own kayak or canoe, life vest, paddle, and transportation to and from.
Location Details: Proctor Falls recreation area off of Patch St. Park in the parking area and bring your canoe or kayak to the beach area to launch.
