Rutland Rocks Curling Club (RRCC) is excited to curl up with RYP for the second annual meet-up! Thanks to Maple Leaf Clinic of Wallingford and Campbell Plaster & Iron of West Rutland for their generous support of this event.

Beginning off the ice in the warm room at Giorgetti Arena you will learn the basic rules, etiquette, and strategy of curling along with techniques for delivering and sweeping the stone. You’ll then get to practice your new skills on the ice by playing an abbreviated game. 

Wear clean, rubber-soled shoes and comfortable, movable, weather-appropriate clothing. (No one will blink if you choose to wear a helmet too!)

After the game, come warm up with us at Strangefellows Pub for “broomstacking.” During this traditional après-curling event, the winning team customarily buys the losing team the first drinks (and the losing team reciprocates the next round). In this case, our sponsors have bought you a drink ticket and a taco bar—included in the low $15 ticket price!

BONUS: This counts as the Learn to Curl course required join Rutland Rocks and curl in our Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday leagues...a $20 value (club membership dues still apply)!
